Antibiotics for Respiratory Infection Software (ARIES)
The Antibiotics for Respiratory Infection Software (ARIES) tool is designed to import and analyze retrospective medical and pharmacy claims data to assist in determining antibiotic drug utilization and costs for selected respiratory diagnoses. This interactive software tool allows the user to evaluate utilization patterns of select antibiotic medications and related diseases in a targeted patient population. In addition, this software assists in identifying quality improvement opportunities to promote the appropriate use of antibiotics in select diagnoses.
